Millet Mash
This delicious grain has become recently popular, because it’s gluten free. The Hunzas, known for their longevity, use millet as a primary food. Rich in magnesium, it helps prevent heart problems, by lowering cholesterol. It’ is also good to sooth menstrual cramps and increases the production of breastmilk, and it helps prevent migraines.
3 cups of water
½ cauliflower
Pinch of salt
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp tahini
2. In a pot add the millet, water, salt, chopped cauliflower, bay leaves and the tahini.
3. bring to a boil and let it simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
4. Once the water evaporates it’s ready.
5. Remove the bay leaves and puree it with a blender or mash it with a fork.
